Love

What is love ? what has it to do with me? and how do I fit into it ?

Well no matter what people say about of it, it is a gift ability given to us by god, it is the ability to love him and one another,

Even JESUS told us to love him, his farther, and through him, we also can love all other people, everybody around us, all people no matter what race or country they are from,

as he loves all people, so are we to love all people, and through loving all people, then and only then can we truly love god and Jesus our lord.

how many say, yes i love you lord, and i love you Jesus, but yet still have problem loving other people around you. the lord says, he who feeds / loves somebody in his name, feeds and loves him,, he is ashamed of him before others in life, Jesus will also be ashamed of you in the presence of his farther, Jesus states it out that you must really treat everyone around you is him, so that’s why he states in ( Matthew 25,31-46 ) When the son of man comes in his glory, and all the angles with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
The king will say to those on his right, ‘come, you who are blessed by my farther; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

For i was hungry and you gave me something to eat, i was thirsty and you gave me something to drink?, i was a stranger and you invited me in, i needed clothes and you clothed me, i was sick and you looked after me, i was in prison and you came to visit me,

Then the righteous will answer him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink, when did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?, when did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you ?

the king will reply, i tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.

then he will say to those on his left, Depart from me, for you are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angles. For i was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, i was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, i was a stranger and you did not invite me in, i needed clothes and you did not clothe me, i was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.

they will also answer, lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you ?

He will reply, i tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.

Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

how many times have you tried to cheat a person out of something ?

how many times have you cursed or swore at someone ?

how many times have you hit or caused someone to physically or emotionally hurt ?

how many times have you uttered something against someone to justify yourself or to boaster yourself or to make that other person to feel bad ?

how many times have you wrong someone just so that you could fit in and not to look as the outsider ?

how many times have you cut someone off in traffic so you could just get infrount of them so you could feel better about being in that place ?

how many times have you called someone a so and so because of that they are doing on the road or anywhere in life ?

how many times have you driven like a mad person and caused problems for other people around you ?

how many times you took things that did not belong to you and thought, it’s only this small thing, it’s not worth bothering about or they will not miss it ?

how many times have you destroyed something and you thought it was fun, or gave you something to do, or did something just to get back at someone ?

how many times have you decided to let loose and forget everything and decided to get drunk and lose control of your senses, and cause problems for those around you ?

How would you feel if you turned around and you saw Jesus there looking straight at you ? realised that the person who you were doing all these things against was Jesus himself looking back at you ? because in the time of judgement it will be Jesus looking back at you saying all these things to you ! ! will you be one of the just and righteous ones on his right or on his left ?

(Matthew 18, 1-9) At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

he called a little child and had him stand amoung them. and he said i tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven, Therefore whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

and whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believes in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin ! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come !

( Matthew 10,32-33 )Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my farther in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, i will disown him before my farther in heaven.

( Matthew 10,37-42 )Anyone that loves his farther or mother more than me is not worthy of me; Anyone that loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone that does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me, whoever finds his life will loose it, and whoever looses his life for my sake will find it.

He who recieves you recieves me, and he who recieves me recieves the one that sent me. anyone who recieves a prophet because he is a prophet will recieve a prophet’s reward, and anyone who recieves a righteous man because he is a righteous man recieves a richest man’s reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my deciple, i tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.

( Matthew 7,12 ) So in everything, do to others what you would have them to do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

( John 13:34 – 35 ) A new commandment i give you: Love one another. as i have loveed you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another

( Luke 10:30 – 37 ) Jesus answered, “A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
By chance a certain priest was going down that way. When he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
In the same way a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side.

But a certain Samaritan, as he travelled, came where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion,
came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. He set him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, and gave them to the host, and said to him, ‘Take care of him. Whatever you spend beyond that, I will repay you when I return.’

Now which of these three do you think seemed to be a neighbour to him who fell among the robbers?”

He said, “He who showed mercy on him.”
Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

( Leviticus 19:11 – 19 ) You shall not steal; neither shall you deal falsely, nor lie to one another. You shall not swear by my name falsely, and profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.

You shall not oppress your neighbour, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning.
You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind; but you shall fear your God. I am Yahweh.

You shall do no injustice in judgment: you shall not be partial to the poor, nor show favouritism to the great; but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbour.
You shall not go up and down as a slanderer among your people; neither shall you stand against the life of your neighbour. I am Yahweh.

You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbour, and not bear sin because of him.
You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbour as yourself. I am Yahweh.

You shall keep my statutes.
You shall not crossbreed different kinds of animals. you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed; neither shall there come upon on you a garment made of two kinds of material.
