Latest news we hear from news reports is there has been continual earth quakes in that area ( of Mount Hagen ) and after shocks. Unconfirmed how many or when, but as of 09/03/2018 all we hear is there hhere has been a few earth quakes and some after shocks, in many parts sides of mountains have had megga massive mud slides burrying many places.
We strongly advide to search and seek reputable news sources for information and not depend or rely on what we say in this particular blog as we are just repeating what we have heard from different news sources and needs to be confirmed. From what we have heard is there are a lot who have unfortunately died and homes and gardens people depend on for their food source are gone.
We know people from this area and have not heard anything from them, so we are in the dark about what is happening on the ground there or even if they are ok.
Prime minister Peter O’Neill has visited some place i believe according to a video news feed we saw yesterday where we believe he said about trying to get aid to the effected areas, but whether or not that has or is happening we are unable to substantiate.
Our hearts and thoughts and prays go to those effected by these earth quakes.
Please keep those effected by the earth quake in your thoughts and prayers.
For credible news and information about the situation andwhat has happened and what is happening please contact relyable credible news sources who have checked and confirmed the news reports they report about.
Please do not depend and rely on reports from blogs such as this for your news information, we are concerned individuals just like yourselves seeing and hearing what is happening from news reports here and there.
May Gods blessings be upon you as you seek him in spirit and in truth.

A powerful earthquake of magnitude 6.0 has struck the northeast coast of Papua New Guinea, the United States Geographical Survey (USGS) says.
The quake hit at 0250 GMT (1350 AEDT) on Friday at a depth of around 53km, according to USGS. No tsunami warning was immediately issued.
Quakes are common in Papua New Guinea, which sits on the Pacific’s “Ring of Fire”, a hotspot for seismic activity due to friction between tectonic plates. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties after the tremor.
Friday’s quake was downgraded from an initial measurement of 6.3 magnitude by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
